HERE IS OUR BUDGET IN A NUTSHELL

Fundraising goals are $3000 per Re-Entry Candidate
CRE basic administrative expenses of cell phone, social media, supplies, as a “remote” organiztions is approximately $1,200 per month.

CRE Standard:  no more than 10 % of outside donations used for Admin expenses. 

• Admin current expenses:  to be barely minimally engaged with social media, cell phone, and supplies are about $1,200 per month.  This amount is currently covered by one monthly pledge contributor, two local churches and the CRE Board donating personal funds.

• CRE is committed that admin expenses must not absorb more than 10% of outside contributed funds.  Therefore, to increase CRE outreach, contributions from outside source must increase via one-time donations; monthly pledge; or “per Re-Entry Candidate” sponsorship.

• 90% of donated funds are reserved for direct Re-Entry Candidate assistance such as clothing, household goods, transportation for job search and other court-ordered criteria. If funds remain:- housing assistance and food and sundries for up to 90 days.

• WHETHER YOUR TIME/EXPERIENCE TO ASSIST IN FUNDRAISING IS YOUR CALLING -OR- $$$ ASSISTANCE IS YOUR PLEASURE -  THANK YOU.

SPONSOR A CRE MISSION

CRE desires to reach out to the entire community to educate all on the importance of re-entry assistance; hear suggestions; and develop relationship with those interested in lowering the arrest recidivism rate in McHenry and Lake Counties. Recently we have merged with NEW LIFE TRANSITIONS OF NORTHERN IL (NLT-NIL) who is SEARCHING FOR:

• A VOLUNTEER EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO SERVE SIX MONTHS RE-LAUNCHING A NEW RE-ENTRY PLATFORM INCLUDING NETWORKING WITH LOCAL SOCIAL SERVICES.

• A BOARD CORPORATE SECRETARY TO ASSIST IN STORING DOCUMENTS, DRAFTING MEETING MINUTES, AND MANAGING ADMINISTRATIVE RECORDS.

• 2 ADDITIONAL BOARD MEMBERS WITH INTEREST IN SOCIAL SERVICES; COUNSELING; OR NFP FUNDRAISING;

• VOLUNTEERS INTERESTED IN EVENT PLANNING; RE-ENTRY RESEARCH; ASSISTING BOARD MEMBERS IN ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS; AND/OR BIBLE-BASED PROGRAMS

LONG TERM CAMPAIGNS:

“THE LANDING CENTER” A unique center for drop bys to receive assistance, guidance, and a safe place to reflect. Looking for approximately 1,000 square feet in central McHenry County area that includes Kitchen, washrooms, and spacious room to fellowship. Near public transportation ideal. Donated ownership or rent discounted.

PAROLE SITE SOBER LIVING HOUSING: Currently McHenry County citizens being released from state prisons are most often forced to accept parole sites in urban areas not appropriate for a successful re-entry. CRE is seeking those investors who can contribute to developing parole site specific housing opportunities for those released from jail/prison and no appropriate residential location.

“RIDE-2-WORK” : A transportation hub, either by NFP business ownership, or by intensive outsourcing- to provide to/from work transportation for those whose drivers license has been revoked or suspended or other disabling circumstances.

FUNDRAISERS: seeking those experienced in advertising, promoting for successful attendance at fundraising events  OR those who sponsor to promote business while covering event expenses.
